We offer the most current and exciting Musical Theatre classes and Voice lessons in Anne Arundel County. We have Musical Theatre classes and Private and Semi-Private Voice lessons for the young beginner, the recreational student and the student with professional ambitions. The Art Space offers a fun, welcoming and encouraging classes in which boys and girls of all ages thrive, develop confidence and expand their creative horizons. Our mission is to encourage creativity and focus on process rather than product. We believe that through deeper understanding of the process the student's full artistic potential is realized. Priscilla Smith (Founder, Director, Teacher) teaches Voice, Musical Theater and Dance to children through adults. She has a diverse background in the Arts and has performed in many musicals on stages across Europe including the Frankfurt Opera house. She has recorded 5 albums ranging from Jazz to R&B/ Pop and has worked in NYC as a professional commercial singer. She also Danced as a member of a Hip Hop Dance company in Washington DC and taught Jazz/ Funk Hip Hop for many years in and near NYC. Priscilla studied Voice and Musical Theater at Berklee College of Music and The Boston Conservatory and is also a certified Kindermusik instructor. She has been working with children and adult students for over 10 years as a musical theatre, voice and dance teacher and has been the director of The Art Space for 2 years. She loves working with the individual and class to develop and strengthen their technique and confidence as performers.
